Dr Imran Riaz

Dr Riaz is an Australian dual trained Consultant Physician in Geriatric Medicine and General & Acute Medicine. He completed his basic and advanced trainings from Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH), Royal Perth hospital (RPH) and Sir Charles Gairdner Hospitals (SCGH) in Western Australia. He does his outpatient clinics as well as inpatient consults, acute and sub-acute care / rehabilitation admissions in Hollywood hospital. He also currently has a public appointment as a specialist in Fiona Stanley Hospital and Royal Perth Hospital. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (Geriatric Medicine and General Medicine).

Dr Riaz provides a comprehensive range of services to his patients, including assessment and management of cognitive impairment, falls prevention, osteoporosis, subacute care, and rehabilitation. He has a special interest in managing patients with complex comorbidities. Dr Riaz also provides consultations at nursing home / residential care facilities around metropolitan Perth.  In addition to English, he is also fluent in Urdu, Punjabi, and Hindi.

Dr Riaz favours a holistic approach to care which encompass both physical and mental health involving multidisciplinary team approach. His patients praise him for his compassionate care. He always looks for ways to improve the quality of life for the elderly population.
